Explore Hadrian's Wall app for iPhone and iPad

The Explore Hadrians Wall Augmented Reality app uses the latest archaeological evidence of the Roman Imperial Frontier of Hadrian’s Wall to reconstruct the line of the monument and its associated structures (fort, milecastle, defensive ditch and wooden stake obstructions) through the modern city centre of Newcastle. Click points give additional information on specific buildings and sites. The app can be used to locate the Roman buildings in the centre of Newcastle via the GPS Navigation functionality, or, remotely, the viewer can walk-through the reconstructed landscape to explore the Roman buildings.
